As a result of the updates made to the Programme over the last 12 months the SHQ Commissioners for Beavers, Cubs and Scouts, along with their support teams, have been reviewing the Scottish Challenge Badges. At the end of the review we are excited to announce the launch of the new Sectional Thistle Awards!
Following feedback from young people and volunteers, and with the updates to the Programme in mind, it was clear that a review of the Scottish Challenge Badges was needed. The teams really listened to what you had to say and created a badge that is much better suited for each of the Sections, and will be fun, challenging, and adventurous for young people.
So, the badge now has: a new name, new design, new certificates, new record cards, new size and we also made some changes to requirements to make it open to all AND it can assist in completing other badges!
