All of our National Activity Centres can support expedition and outdoors skills training for the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award.
All three Centres can also be used as a base for DofE expeditions at any level and we can provide DofE Assessors to work in other areas.
All of these resources can be utilised for the expedition section of the Queen’s Scout Award.
Lochgoilhead - Approved Activity Providor
Lochgoilhead National Activity Centre is an Approved Activity Provider for the Duke of Edinburgh Programme, and is able to provide training and qualifying expeditions to Bronze, Silver and Gold level.
Lochgoilhead also holds expedition equipment resources which are available to
groups who do not have their own equipment and can offer training courses for leaders in Introduction to the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, DofE Expedition Supervisor and DofE Expedition Assessor.
