Adventurous activities provide some of the most challenging and memorable experiences of the Scouting programme, are great for team building, and help build self confidence in individuals.
Each of our Centres has something unique to offer via different locations, accommodation and activity options, and all three Centres are able to support you in providing adventurous and outdoor activities for young people in any Section.
Choose or create your own programme
Adventure and self-development activity programmes are tailored to the age and level of your group, with plenty of opportunity for individual challenge and growth. Choose from land and water based activities to create a programme that’s a perfect fit for your young people in your Group.
Scout Badge Work Programmes allow you to provide your Beavers, Cubs, Scouts or Explorers with the opportunity to work towards either a single badge for the whole group of a menu of different badges based on where individuals are at with their personal goals.
Leadership Development Programmes are an excellent addition to your adventurous activity break and will give the young people in your groups a chance to develop and enhance truly useful skills.
Duke of Edinburgh Award and Queen’s Scout Award expedition training and support is also available at any of our Centres where we can equip your Group with the skills and preparation they will need to complete their expeditions. Read more on our Duke of Edinburgh Award Programme page.
