Scouts Scotland is organising two weekend events to bring together Regional Advisers (Activities) and Regional Activity Assessors to discuss and consult on how it can best support and train our volunteers involved in the delivery and support of adventurous activities and outdoor learning.
This event seeks to:
- review the current support structure and how it can be improved,
- build on our capacity to deliver in-house training on adventurous activities and outdoor learning,
- consider what needs to be done to ensure that all young people have access to adventure no matter their background or where they are from,
- provide refresher training and technical updates to improve knowledge and skills.
This event is fully funded for up to 30 Advisers and Assessors. The weekend is fully catered with indoor accommodation provided.
