Campsie Challenge application form

The Campsie Challenge, being run by the Scottish Fellowship, will be held at Auchengillan Outdoor Centre from Friday 19th – Sunday 21st September 2008. The event is a fun weekend for Scouts from all over Scotland. Leaders are encouraged to bring their Troop to the event which is a weekend full of activity and adventure. The weekend has various on-site activities such as abseiling, climbing, pioneering, orienteering, kayaking, archery, fencing, quad bikes, high ropes course, team building as well as evening entertainment including Saturday night carnival and disco.

For those Scouts wanting more of a competitive challenge they can choose to enter a team of four in The Campsie Challenge over the weekend. This will have a similar format to the Adventure Challenge Trophy, and indeed teams will be competing for that trophy. They might also choose to enter The Lunar Challenge which is an incident based Night-Hike.

So whether you are looking for a fun camping weekend, a competitive challenge weekend or both, The Campsie Challenge is a must and should go into the diary now!

The cost for the weekend will be £25.00 for Scouts and £15.00 for Leaders which includes all activities and site fees. Troops will be expected to cater for themselves.
