Founder's Day Service on Sunday 4 March at Dunfermline Abbey
A multi faith celebration of Scouting involving young people and adults from across Scotland. Each Area has been allocated a number of places.
Centenary Awards Day on Sunday 13 May at Blair Castle
Annual ceremony for the recognition of Queen's Scouts, Explorer Belts and adult awards
King's and Queen's Scouts Reunion, 22 June at The Palace of Holyroodhouse, Edinburgh
To recognise the achievement of holders of the highest Award in Scouting, a reception is being held at this prestigous venue.
Scotland's Gang Show on 18 August in Aberdeen
To celebrate the centenary of Scouting, the seven Scottish Gang Shows have produced a spectacular show for two performances only that emphasis youthful talent. A cast of 350 young people from Aberdeen, Dundee, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Greenock, Inverness and Stirling will perform a fast moving professional show full of colour, song, dance and comedy.
Gang Shows are a part of Scouting and provide a showcase of talent giving young people an opportunity to share their new found skills.
Don’t miss out on this wonderful chance to see variety at it’s best, as these young people celebrate the Scouting centenary in a magnificent theatre also in it’s centenary year.

Edinburgh Tattoo on 3 to 25 August at Edinburgh Castle
The Scout Association have been invited to take part in the finale of the 2007 Edinburgh Military Tattoo. Set against the majestic backdrop of Edinburgh Castle the Tattoo is simply unmissable and is watched by a live audience of over 180,000 and a TV audience of nearly 110 million.

Centenary Camps on 26 & 27 May across the UK
One of the principal events of the Centenary year when we hope as many people as possible will take part in a camp.
Brownsea Island, various events
There will be a series of events in summer 2007 at Brownsea Island, the site of the first ever Scout Camp in 1907.
Sunrise Celebrations on Wednesday 1 August across the world
On 1st August 2007 Scouts of every age from around UK will join with 28 million Scouts from around the world to celebrate the dawn of a new Century of Scouting.
We hope that Scouts will hold their ceremonies out in public places so we get lots of people interested in joining us.
21st World Jamboree on 27 July to 8 August at Hylands Park, Chelmsford
40,000 Scouts will camp, live and work together for twelve unforgettable days of celebration and international friendship. It will be one of the biggest adventures in the history of the Movement.
Centenary JOTA and JOTI on 20 to 21 October across the world
The Jamborees on the airways and internet will bring Scouts from all over the world together to celebrate the Centenary.
Festival of Scouting on 24 November at the 02 Arena in London
A unique event featuring between 2,000 and 3,000 participants as performers. It will be open to a capacity audience of 34,000 over two shows.
