Scouting in Scotland is moving towards a new structure which will provide better Scouting for young people and adults across the country now and in the future.
Our plan for the next few years focuses on making sure that we are:
- A growing Movement
- A youth Movement
- A focused Movement
- A sound Movement
- A relevant Movement
- A diverse Movement
The move from the current system of 31 Areas to 8 Regions wil mean that Scottish Headquarters and our volunteers right across Scotland will be able to work together more effectively and efficiently to deliver the best possible Scouting to young people wherever they live and whatever their circumstances.
The process has already started and we will continue to update these pages until the change over on 1 April 2008.
