Lochgoilhead offers 2 types of accommodation - dormitories and lodges.
There are four dormitory units, which are offered as budget accommodation. Two of these units have 22 beds that are split into two rooms of 5 bunks and a leader room with 1 bunk bed. Two further units each have a maximum occupancy of 24. They have 2 rooms with 4 bunk beds, 1 room with 2 bunk beds and a leader room with 2 bunk beds.
Showers are provided in separate external male and female facilities. Leader rooms each have a private WC & shower facility.
The lodges are our premier accommodation and are very popular with existing customers. Three lodges each have a maximum occupancy of 16. The accommodation is provided in 3 rooms with 2 single beds, 2 rooms with 2 bunk beds and a leader room with 2 single beds. Each lodge is unisex and there is a wash hand basin in each room. The leader room has its own WC and Shower. There is a small sitting area and a sink at the rear of the lodges, overlooking the playing field.
One other lodge has a maximum capacity of 12, in six rooms. Each room has two single beds and private WC & shower.
Special needs accommodation
A modified sixteen bed lodge provides good accommodation for special needs groups and their leaders. One room has an internal WC and shower facility with full wheelchair access.
An electric hoist is available in the lodge and various items of manual handling equipment are on hand for boat and other transfers. Users and potential users are best to confirm with us that we have any specialist equipment they may require for their group needs.
Tarmac walkways lead between the lodge, dining and activity facilities. A path has been constructed to give wheelchair access to the abseil area and hillside three hundred feet above the centre.
