Scottish Development Fund - New Application process

The Scottish Development Fund has now been extensively updated and new Application and Guidance and Forms can now be found in the Finance and Funding section of the Library, and at the end of this article. Please circulate this information widely to Scout Groups across Scotland.
The updated procedure replaces, with immediate effect, the previous Fast Track and Main Grants Programme and all funds will now be considered within one application procedure. Please do not submit any applications using the previous forms as we will not consider any applications using this method and they will merely be returned to complete using the new forms.
The newly formed Development Grants Committee will be the body responsible for considering all applications to the Fund and this will meet four times per year in March, June, September and December and the dates of these meetings will be published in Scouts Scotland+, Scottish Scout News and on the Scouts-Scotland Website. The timetable for the first two meetings is as follows:
- Monday 21 April 2008
- Wednesday 11 June 2008
All paperwork for these meetings must be at Scottish Headquarters 14 days prior to the meeting and we must also stress that all applications must be endorsed appropriately and be accompanied by the relevant certified accounts.
