Scottish Board Elections 2010

06/08/2010

Do you have the desire and skills to shape the policy and direction of Scouting in Scotland?

Or do you know a Scouting colleague who does?

If so, why not consider a nomination for election to the Scottish Board?

Scottish Board Elections 2010

The Scottish Board plays a vital role in relation to policy and management of The Scout Association in Scotland.

It relies particularly on the input from Elected Members representing the membership as a whole from across Scotland. Please consider the positive action you can take to ensure that the Elected Member representation on the Board remains strong, reflects the make-up and geographical spread of Scouting in Scotland and brings to the Board the necessary skills for Trusteeship of a large Scottish Charity.

Any Member of Associate Member aged 18 or over on 6th August 2010 can stand for election.

Nominations for elected places on the Scottish Board require to be made by six individual members of the Association, of whom at least one is also a member of the Scottish Council. There are four places for election of Elected Members serving for a 3-year term from the 2010 AGM (6th November 2010, Perth) to the AGM in 2013.

Further information is available as follows:

Closing date for Nominations is 6th September.

It's your Board!
