Scouting projects receive development grants

Scottish Headquarters is delighted that the Development Grant partnership between the Gannochy Trust and Scottish Scouting has been renewed for a further three years. A Gannochy Trust award of £195,000 over the next three years (£65,000 p.a.) will be disbursed as grants to support local development projects.
At the recent meeting of the Development Grants Committee the following projects were supported by grants from the Scottish Development Fund:

| Great Western District Scout Council | District development initiative |
| 171st Glasgow Scout Group | Purchase an archery range and equipment |
| 3rd Ayrshire Scout Group | Group fundraising project |
| Pentland District Scout Council | 'Come and Try' recruitment initiative |
| 2nd Lochaber Scout Group | International training event and equipment |
| Forth Regional Scout Council | Summer promotional events – shopping centres pilot |
