Course Description

This 4 day course including assessment will meet requiremnts of the nominated first aider in the workplace set out by health and safety regulation 1981. Where appropriate and possible the course will include scenarios and training relevant to the outdoor industry and will involve practical sessions out of the classroom environment. Over 4 days there is a mix of practical and theory based sessions including group study and practise time in preparation for the final assessment on the last afternoon. This course is usually offered over 2 weekends.
By the end of the course the candidate should be able to get help and give safe, prompt and effective first aid.
