 Module 25 - IT'S NEW - IT'S IMPORTANT - IT'S FOR YOU10/11/2003
The key role of Training Advisor is to support a learner, usually one new to Scouting, through The Scout Associations Adult Training Scheme. You will supervise a learner up to the award of the Wood Badge to ensure they have the skills, knowledge and attitudes they need to be effective in their Scouting role. In its simplest form, It means we keep new adults longer because they feel valued and supported. No Scout Group can honestly say that hey dont need new adults to support their programme. A Training Advisor is responsible to either a Local Training Manager or Regional Training Manager and like most Scouting roles, the appointment has some training requirements. Module 25 Assessing Learning is the learning required for all training advisors and for all those who manage Scouting at Group, District or Area level. All GSLs, DCs and ACs must hold a Module 25 certificate and to support this process Scottish Headquarters are running a series of these modules around the country. If you would like to attend the module then please complete the form below for an online booking or fill in the form in the Library Section and return it to SHQ. A confirmation will be sent.
