An activity camp for Scout Network in Nethybridge, near Aviemore.
A unique international experience for Scouts aged 13-18 years.
Further to the successful event held in 2011 and through funding made available from the Cashback for the Communities programme, we have been given the opportunity to provide a full week-long activity experience to Scouts (10 ½ - 14) based at our Lochgoilhead Centre during the Easter Holidays 2012.
The activity week will take place between Monday 9th and Sunday 15th April 2012.
The residential event is being offered to Scouts who, for whatever reason, have been unable to attend an extended residential experience.
This might be due to lack of adult resource or availability or individuals/Troops who come from communities that are experiencing economic hardship and as a result have been unable to take part in locally arranged activities. The package would include full indoor accommodation, all activities, full catering and transport to and from a number of central locations.
The cost of this week long opportunity is only £40 per person.
The programme will be fully arranged by the Lochgoilhead Centre staff but Leaders who are available to accompany Troops are most welcome. Please note that Groups who attended the event in October are ineligible to attend. If you think that this event would be beneficial to your Scouts then please send an email detailing your Leaders Name and Contact Details, Scout Troop, District and the number of Scouts you would like to apply to attend.
You should send replies to [email protected] . Please do not contact Lochgoilhead directly. Please note that the closing date for all applications will be strictly Thursday 16 February 2011.
