A unique international experience for Scouts aged 13-18 years.
Scouts Scotland is looking for a suitably experienced volunteer to act as an advisor to the Chief Commissioner and Executive Committee on the implementation of the Association’s Safety Policy within SHQ.
This is an important role which will entail working with members of the SHQ Team to promote awareness of the Association’s Safety Policy and ‘good practice’ procedures to all adult volunteers involved in providing Scouting activities.
You will also provide practical support and assistance to Regional Safety in Scouting Coordinators in managing safety issues within Regions, including at Scout campsite and become the recognised point of contact for members of the SHQ Team wishing to discuss or seeking guidance on safety matters.
The deadline for applying yourself or nominating an individual you feel would do this important role justice is 2pm on Friday 24 February.
You can view details of the role by downloading the Role Description in the bottom right column of this page. The nomination form is also available from that area.
