This year the Jamboree on the Air (JOTA) is taking place from 20 to 21 October.

The Kingdom Amateur Radio Society (KARS) will be setting up radio stations at Fordell Firs.
There will be an opportunity to use radio equipment, take part in a radio controlled treasure hunt, use the Morse code, learn something about radio, and possibly make a simple radio.

At the same time as having fun at this event, it will be possible to complete work towards the Communicators Activity Badge (for Cubs, Scouts and Explorers).
