This is an opportunity to complete the expedition section for the DofE Silver award at The Lochgoilhead Centre, an approved Duke of Edinburgh Award activity provider.
Participants who have completed the silver practice will be able to join other scouts on a silver walking expedition to complete this section of the Award.
The format for the event will be one day pre-expedition training and route planning followed by three days out on a qualifying expedient.
The cost includes all DofE paper work, equipment rental if required, expedition food all supervisor and assessor costs.
This is an opportunity for anyone who has missed expeditions to catch up or for units who do not have the numbers to make up an expedition team.
Participants will join other DofE participants to form an expedition team working at silver qualifying level.
Participants will be required to provide proof they have completed a silver training expedition either through e-dofe or keeping track books.
