The following vacancies exist for full-time Scottish Scout Headquarters staff.  

Programme and Development Executive
Based at SHQ, Fordell Firs, Fife.

Starting salary in the range �18,000 - �23,000 + contributory pension

Task Summary: working as a member of a small staff team, to provide a practical resource to Scouting in Scotland in support of the origination, development and implementation of policies and programmes aimed at improving youth and adult recruitment and retention. Will be a key resource for senior volunteers at SHQ and provide field support as appropriate for the benefit of the wider membership in Scotland. 

Business Development Manager

Based at SHQ, Fordell Firs, Fife

Starting salary in the range �20,000 - �24,500 + contributory pension

Task Summary: responsible for co-ordinating a business development strategy for Scottish Scout Headquarters, to encompass its 3 National Activity Centres, and an Equipment Hire Service and to identify other appropriate business opportunities to the benefit of Scottish Scouting. I particular will  provide a key staff resource to support the realisation of a major redevelopment programme for the Fordell Firs National Activity Centre, overseeing fundraising and general project management.  

Warden/Administrator

Based at The Lochgoilhead Centre, Argyll

Starting salary c. �15,700 + contributory pension housing on-site

Task Summary: This is a busy fully AALA licensed residential activity centre, providing a range of land and water based activity options, including NGB training. The warden/administrator will support the Centre Director in the operation of the Centre, with particular responsibilities for site services, Centre maintenance, and general administration. General warden duties will include liaison with Centre users and potential customers, to include responsibility for bookings/office administration. Will additionally be required to contribute to the provision of programme support.

Note: on-site residence is required, for which a detached 3-bedroom house is provided.
