Aberdeen Gang Show, which began at the Tivoli Theatre in 1960, is all set to celebrate its half-century with a fun-packed show at the Aberdeen Arts Centre from 16th – 20th March.

The show, called Pick’n’Mix takes the audience on a journey from the early Tivoli days through to the Land of Sweets, from Jungle to Space, from Gospel to Circus, from Seaside to a thought provoking selection about saving our world.

A winning mix of music, comedy, wonderful costumes and fast-moving choreography, Pick’n’Mix is a variety show to suit all ages.

Please note that the Aberdeen Gang Show will be followed by a celebration dinner in May.

The 3 course dinner is planned to take place at the Hilton Treetops Hotel on May 8, 2010, and the Gang hopes anyone who has ever been involved will join them for a special night of celebration.

Gerard Rattray is the show’s Depute Convener and is organising the dinner. He says: "This is a very special year for Aberdeen Gang Show and we are hoping that anyone who has been involved in the show over the years will come and celebrate with us".
